In today's world, most of us expect to conduct transactions quickly and efficiently online.  However, we do not view insurance as a typical transaction.  Just as you would consult with an attorney for legal matters or have a doctor diagnose a medical condition, we view insurance in similar light. 

An effective insurance program requires a knowledgeable agent or broker to "consult" with the client and "diagnose" the best way to handle coverage.  Companies that offer online quoting frequently care less about the individual and more about the transaction.
